What is SDP?

SDP is NOT insurance, it is an alternative to insurance that allows members to pay reduced rates for dental services. SDP works in cooperation with a network of general dentists and specialists who offer our members dental services at our reduced rates. You, the member, pay the reduced fees directly to the participating dentist.

When was SDP Established?

SDP has been in business since February 2000. It was started by a young Dentist who wanted to offer his patients without dental insurance the opportunity to save some money for expensive dental services

My dentist is not in the SDP network, now what?

You can contact us and we will gladly contact your dentist to see if they would be interested in joining the SDP network.

Can I change my dentist?

You can change your dentist at any time for any reason. The dentist, however, may charge a fee for x-ray duplication and record transfer. We at SDP would like to know if for some reason you were not satisfied with a dentist. Please feel free to contact us with any complaints or issues that may arise

I've seen a dentist before becoming an SDP member, now what?

Before becoming an SDP member, ask your dentist if they will accept you as an SDP patient if you join SDP. The dentist has the right to refuse treatment, and you may select another dentist from our provider list.

Dental Work as an SDP Member

As an active subscriber, your SDP mempbership will save you money on both traditional and specialty dental work.

Membership Types & Restrictions

As we would want to provide everyone coverage, there are limits to each plan. Coverage for:
      Me: As a single member, you are the only member covered under this plan.
      Me + Child (Parent/Child): A parent and your one child are covered.
      Me + Spouse (Partner) Member/Spouse: A member and your spouse/domestic partner are covered.
      My Family: Coverage for yourself and up 3 additional members can be covered.

Cancellation Policy

All SDP membership fees are fully refundable within 48 business hours of your application receipt. Requests for cancellation must be by calling us at 201-357-7147, between the hours of 8am – 5pm EST.
If you find you need to cancel beyond the allowable 48 hour period, send us an email at info@SDPsmile.com.
Be advised that your cancellation is subject to a 25% cancellation processing fee and monthly prorate. Final determinations are at the discretion of the management.
